Sonicare E5300 Review

The Sonicare E5300 is known as the Sonicare Essence, which is a trimmed down version of the Sonicare products designed for entry level usage.  For individuals who aren’t sure whether they would use or enjoy using a Sonicare toothbrush the Sonicare E5300 is an economical means to try the product out without the commitment of a huge investment in a quality dental cleaning system.

The Sonicare E5300 features a slim comfort fit handle and minimal features but is affordable priced well under $60 without manufacturers rebates or incentives.

Sonicare E5300 Features

  • Removes more plaque than a standard manual toothbrush
  • Two year limited warranty
  • One push self-timer to ensure minimum of two minutes cleaning time is achieved
  • Operates up to two weeks of regular use when fully charged
  • Compact design is ideal for travel
  • Patented sonic technology creates micro-bubbles to clean in between teeth
  • Visibly whiter smile within twenty eight (28) days

Sonicare E5300 Review

Pro: I couldn’t afford some of the other models and I figured I really didn’t need a lot of the warning beeps and flashing light indicators that seemed to mean a more expensive price tag for a Sonicare Toothbrush.  I guess I’m kind of old school in some ways because this suits me fine.  It does a fantastic job and it doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg.  And if it breaks I know I will have received the value out of the investment I placed in it, which is important to me.

Con: I bought this thinking that it would have most of the bells and whistles that the other Sonicare toothbrushes had but I was wrong.  One of the features I really liked about my old Sonicare toothbrush is that it used to beep every thirty (30) seconds to let me know it was time to change cleaning in a different area of my mouth.  This one simply has the two minute timer which is better than nothing but not as good as some of the Elite models.   I’ll use it as long as I can and then likely upgrade.  I like the additional features.
